| Enclosure for Stacey's ZX3. 2.5 cubes @ 36hz for 2 - 10" JBL 1022's he bought off Ben (zeptoplix) through our forum. There has been some good deals available on here. Thanks to everyone. I like this design, and think it will be quite effective. Build starts tomorrow.

| Got all the materials today. Went to home depot, and the guy (Trevor) in charge of cutting the wood was a good guy. Really went out of his way to ensure the cuts were perfect. This box is going to come together nicely. I just need to cut the 45's on my table saw. The fun begins. | |

| A tip if I may. Rubberized undercoating for port painting work the best and covers amazingly. | |

| You said you just wanted it black man... I would have used whatever you wanted if you said so earlier... It is darker than it appears in the pic. I bit the cost of paint seeing as it was requested afterward. Plus the rubberized undercoating is a huge velocity drag when used in a port. Its not bad for an outside finish. It could have used another layer to make it brighter as it did suck it up a bit, but after 3 layers I used the whole can of paint. lol

| Just need to cut the holes and install the 45's. I can't find my router circle jig anywhere... I'll drop it by tomorrow.

What you talkin about willis? I rounded all edges with 3/8 round over. The biggest I have is 1/2 round over bit. With 3/4" MFD the 3/8 bit works perfectly. 1/2" is for 1" MDF but if you would like I can go over yours with the 1/2"? Not a prob, lmk what you want...

| ive noticed when painting a box it works alot better when you roll the paint on. goes on a bit thicker to and it doesent soak in nearly as much. and i agree 1/2 round over is the biggest i would go. | |

True & I have a paint gun (best finish), but seeing as he only requested the port be painted black and Jordan has my gun, I just bought a can of paint. If it were a completely finished, painted box, I would have bought the good stuff. He was trying to build this as cheap as possible... it's nothing more than a raw box, with painted port. As requested. The paint isn't what makes it sound good anyway.... I used a roller on one of my old enclosures and it turned out rather well. Home Depot even color matched my interior perfectly.
